"Small, but Mighty"

An iridescent blue-black dung beetle braces low and pushes a dark ball trailing a lit fuse — a bomb rather than a dung ball. A magenta field above carries huizache puffs, morning glories and leafy vines, with a monarch at the left and pale mushrooms on the bank below. According to the artists, the beetle is a hero hauling a burden that isn't his to carry.
