"Moments of Wonder"

A sparrow perches at the left beside a nopal in fruit and a wide yellow cactus bloom, turned toward a stream that drops in white sheets over dark stacked rock and runs out through a boulder-strewn bed. At the right a monarch hangs from its split chrysalis on a thorned huizache branch in yellow bloom.
