"Our Hidden Neighbors"

A gray fox in profile occupies a golden field at the left, facing a ringtail crouched on deep indigo at the right, its banded tail curling down the wall. Between them a nopal heavy with red tunas rises through a curtain of blue and violet morning glories. According to the artist, both animals are guardians of the landscape rather than intruders.
