"Connections with Nature"

According to the artists, the children helped design the mural after walking the arroyo and choosing the plants and animals that live there. Four of them are shown along a winding blue stream: one dips a net in the water, one kneels to plant a seedling, one crouches at the edge, and one raises binoculars toward a red bird.
